2010 Speaker problem.

Those doors do collect a lot of water. When I first started to have this problem I pulled the door panel off and the bottom of the door was very wet despite all the drain holes wide open.
Wonder why turning the volume up a bit fixes it for a while? Wonder if there is just enough of a short that increasing the voltage breaks it?

I have been having the same issue for about a year now. I have aftermarket speakers (Polk DB57) in all 4 doors, but the only one acting up is front driver side door. I thought it was my aftermarket speakers causing the problem until I read this thread...
And the speaker starts working again if I turn the volume way up and then back down to normal.

I just took my passenger door panel off for the umpteenth time.
The connection from the speaker to the factory wire looked fine and dry. I blew it out with my compressor and put some dielectric grease on the connection. I really dont see how it could even get wet since there is a gasket around it.
While the woofer was out I shook it while playing. I had static a few times but could never pinpoint if a wire was causing it or not. I grabbed the bundle of wires going to the speaker and shook them with no problems at all.
So I have no idea what is causing these speaker problems.

Drivers door has the same problem. Glad I read this thread . Just ordered some Infiniti Kappa's thinking it was likely an issue with the speaker. Looks like I need to have Ford address this issue before I install those.

I had mine in there today, they are ordering a new head unit to install next week, I had the left front side cutting out, bump volume and it would come on. Will keep you updated...
On the VW's I have worked on the door wiring harness after they broke from being too short..
