    I will try that, but I dont think thats it...Something up front either motor or trans is shifting and settling down into position when I come to a stop..also can feel it shift when accelerating..I will take your advice and try the slip yoke deal first..thanks..I will let you know either way..

    Your problem sounds a lot like the driveshaft slip joint bumping when you come to a stop. My truck has done this about every 15,000 miles. I finally bought the Ford Teflon grease off of amazon, and lubed up the slip joint myself and so far, it has never been better.

    I would try to lube up the driveshaft first and then move on to the trans mount.
