Default 2010 Bluetooth issue

Ok I have looked through the search and found no answer.

I have a 2010 with Sony, Nav, and all that. My Bluetooth for my phone was working this morning just fine. Then I started my truck and the little Bluetooth sign was gone. I went back through the settings and it said Bluetooth was on. So I turned it of and on a few times and nothing. Did the pull the fuse trick and still nothing. Any ideas on what's up? Not that it's the end of the world but it's a nice feature for hands free driving and running Pandora through. Help would be awesome. Thanks!

Don't know if this will help. I have never done any of the updates to the system. Just use it like I got it. It always worked until yesterday.

Also today did the master reset through the system and still nothing. When I go into the settings and turn the Bluetooth to the on position it does nothing. I can hit the on but the Bluetooth sign never comes on and the phone will not connect.

try rebooting the phone. I had the same problem and that's what fixed it.

I did That too. I really think it's the system in the truck since the Bluetooth doesn't even appear to come on.

Hi 6d8muscle,

If you log into your Owner account (Owner.Ford.com), do you see the 4.4 update available for download? If so, I suggest trying that first to correct this issue. Let me know!

I dont have the sony system, but last week my bluetooth was not working either. It would say it was connected, however it wouldnt play my music.. Master reset did nothing, deleting the phone and re sync did nothing either. I unhooked the negative lead to the battery and left it off for a few minutes and presto, everthing was good after that and has been thus far.

No Problem, I am glad it worked for you! I was getting really frustrated with mine when it was acting up.
