2010 bed extender?
yea, i live in ND, theres nothing close, lol! not enough people around here.
Thanks. I figured that out the other day ... Had to go buy a T50 wrench at sears to crank them down, more $ but oh, well.. Lots of T50 bolts on the truck.
Works great but the other holes for the pin that holds it in either position (in the bed of on the tail gate) do not line up right, i have to force the pin in. There is no adjustment for that.

Just figured out it is my bed rug mat causing the problem, being that it raises the floor a half inch, one of the support stubs on the extender rest on top... I just push down hard on it to make an indention in the mat and it fits better...
I thought that I wanted a bed extender. Turns out, I just wanted to keep my stuff from sliding all the way to the front of the bed when I touch the brakes.
Solution: $25.00 at tractor supply company. A ratcheting brace that can be positioned practically anywhere along the length of the bed which has feet that, when extended, grip the line-x'd sides of the bed and are totally adjustable for height or depth.
At present, I have it about 3 inches up from the floor of the bed, and about 18 inches in. works perfectly. I no longer have to open my bak flip and climb into the bed to get at wayward lemons or apples.
When I put my blackbird or magna into the back, it will easily remove, and stow in the cab or alongside the bike.
Just thought I'd share. Figured that for $25, the least I could do was to try it.
