Default 2009 Windshield Seals

My new to me 2009 s-crew made it through sandy, but I noticed leaves and the like got jammed between the metal and the windshield gasket. My last truck and other cars all have a gasket the fills in the gap between the seal and the truck exterior to keep this from happening. The truck isn't leaking but Im concerned that organic will collect, rot, and warp the seal. I have a call into the dealer but not getting far. Is there a seal to be had? looks weird without on, but maybe FORD changed the design....also if the weather strip doesn't exist has anyone had a similar issue and found a good fix? Im tempted to use black silicone aquarium sealant....cheap water proof and removable. Any pointers out there? Thanks.

Default

1. the truck doesn't have a gasket, it has moldings
2. the bonding agent between the glass and body is called urethane
3. urethane does not rot, break down, leak over time, etc
4. using silicone will induce rust to the body

i would use a pressure washer to get the dirt and mildew off the body and some sort of rubber scrub to clean the moldings... moldings can dryrot over time just like tires but if they are removed or destroyed it won't impact the integrity of the seal..
