Default 2009 - Separate Issues

Hey All, I just want to say thanks in advance for any replies and feedback.

I have a couple issues with my truck that are hopefully minor and don't take much to fix. Truck specs: 2009, F150 XLT, SuperCrew, 6.5ft, Max Tow Package, 50,000 miles.

#1: Since the day I bought it with a clean CarFax and 33,000 miles (2 years ago), I've never liked the way it would go over speed bumps. When going over speed bumps, I quickly learned to slow down, and I mean I basically crawl over them. If I go over a speed bump at any speed, it feels like my front end is going to fall apart. I get a massive clunk. I mean, I can go over speed bumps in my girlfriend's Acura TSX faster than my truck.

#2: I noticed about a month ago when taking my foot off the gas and idling I get a small surge feeling every few seconds. It's almost like the truck lunges a bit. This feeling is very minor, and I'm wondering if it could possibly be my lack of balancing tires every 5k miles.

#3: Recently, I also noticed when making a left hand turn, when my wheel begins to straighten out, I get a very minor "pop" in the steering wheel. It happens about half way back to straight, and only happens when I make left hand turns and the wheel is turning back to the right. I wonder if this could have anything to do with alignment, or maybe something to do with #1.

All of these issues seem to be pretty minor. My truck drives great, tracks straight, and is super smooth while going down the road. I've searched around and there's a million topics on this forum, but I am kind of lost at this point. Thanks for any help!

Not sure on the two and three but one sounds like you have a level kit on it and that stiffens the springs in the front which makes going over speed bumps a little rougher than stock.

Thanks for the reply. My truck is completely stock. No leveling kit.

Have you had a good look at the front end?

The speed bump thingy might be something trivial like an anti-roll bar bushing.

Pop in the steering wheel? Right inside the actual wheel? Could be the collector pack for all the audio, cruise control and horn function. Or Maybe the auto turn signal return. Does it happen during a siginal / non siginal turn?
