Default 2009 fx4 grill with chrome bumper

I want to switch my xlt chrome grill for a fx4 one but i don't know if it would look good with my chrome bumper. Anyone have picture of the fx4 grill with chrome bumper?
How do you guys think it would look?

I did just the opposite. My XLT had chrome bumpers and I took them off and painted the bumpers and the grille black to match the truck. I cant stand chrome I think it would look good for your situation. Having a black grille against a chrome bumper would stand out pretty nicely. Honestly the best way to do it is take a picture of the front of your truck, post the picture on here and ask someone to photo shop the grill black for you....then you know what your looking for...

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. In my eye, the XLT chrome grill is great as-is. If you want a FX4 grill, you should go ahead and get the chrome bumpers painted too for the monochromatic look.

Is the chrome look hurting your eyes?

I just never liked the chrome look. To me there is only a certain amount of a truck that should be chromed...after that it starts looking tacky and cheap. Chrome to me is like Brass back in the 70's and 80's. Honestly what I think company's should start doing is offering bumpers in carbon fiber. The looks of CF just looks sharp!

I'll agree carbon fiber looks cool. The only problem is it's also a fad right now. Like most things like it, it will fade away at some point. I don't see a huge market of truck buyers that would actually want carbon fiber on a standard truck. Perhaps a performance truck or something...

I like chrome on trucks and I like the monochromatic look. It mainly depends on the color of the truck.

As far as the original post, If a colored grille is what you want then I'd get one. I think it will look fine with the chrome bumper at the bottom.
