@Maximilian, I was back at the stereo shop that installed my Restyle today. They helped me out and hooked up the HDMI cable so I can play video off my phone. I had no idea it was so involved, they had to pull the entire dash and all the trim apart!
Anyway, while they had it out I asked them about the original sync screen showing the song name like in your picture. He walked me through the options when re-flashing the Maestro module, and there are no options that control the sync screen. In fact the only options on the Maestro configuration are for the steering wheel controls.
I only get the date and time showing on my screen. And even then, I seem to have a random glitch where the top screen will randomly be blank, only showing temp and compass. It seems like 1 in 5 times it will be blank missing time/date.
So do you know exactly how you got your upper screen to show song name?

I have an Alpine X008U and Idata Meastro in my 2012, My Sync display shows all song title, radio station, date and time information.

Your Maestro could be defective possibly, only time just the time & date should be shown in the 2 line display. Is when the HU is in Standby or Off?
