Default 2" rear drop and 26" on 2wd?

I have an '09 2wd Supercrew, i was looking to do a 1.5 level and get bigger tires on my stock 18's, i may still get bigger tires for next winter. I am a former lowrider, so i plan on 26's in the summer and 18's in the winter. i would rather drop the rear end for the level than the front end lift. I would like to see some pictures of 26's or larger and what level was done.

It would look so much better without the ruler. I need to see a new model ford, with what was done to it.

do it and post pictures! and get ready for the haters to come out of the woodwork...for some reason 26's are frowned upon for the most part on this site...personally i like em and cant wait to get em on my F150! couple more months and ill have mine...

26's on a full size truck look appropriate. 26's on a 1986 caprice look DONK! I've been hated my whole life. When i bought Run DMC back in 1986 when i was 7, my parents told me i would outgrow the music, well mom, i am 32 now and still like the same music and tastes in vehicles. I am more hated now, because when i pull up on a jobsite i have the nicest ride among about 600 construction workers! LOOK AT ME NOW.....

OP, i am in the same boat, just not with 26's though. i already have bigger all terrain tires on my stock 18's and looking for a set of 20's with street tires for summer. but i plan to drop the back instead of lift the front. let me know if you do this before i do...

Whaaat?? Although he may have got bored bc it looks perfect. I'm already running out of things to do and it just makes me wanna start over mainly because theres like 3 other trucks in my town who now have very very similar looks to mine I hate it.
