Not the solution that you were looking for, but what about a trailer mounted mirror that is used to ease hitching. This way, you can see that the trailer is still there at least....

 

I got it figured out !!!!!!!!!!!!

I mounted a small rocker switch on the bottom of the rear view mirror with double sided tape to turn on or off.
Camera can be switched on while in any gear.
It does however make the backup lights also come on.

That's awesome - do you want to have another dealership in the Tampa bay area I have an '03 MeanStreak 1500. Previously have owned 1992 ZX11, 1994 ZX7, 1998 Muzzy Raptor 750, 1995 ZX6R - my race bike, among other - all Kawi's...even my waverunner - XZ1100i

 

No one dealership is this economy is plenty. I had a '02 MeanStreak before the zx10. I have my zx10 for sale just not using it enough. I was hoping Kawi would have a 450 supermoto for 2010 but they do not. I ride Jetski alot in the summer. I have a heavily modded 800 sxr standup and a ultra 250x for my wife and our dog.

 

They have a process of steps to do in the owners manal that will stop the alarm. You have to do this for both seats
