Hey guys first question I have a 2011 FX4 screw and the headlights suck. I have replaced factory with the sylvania silvers and I'm not impressed any other options?

Second I towed my new 16ft aluminum sled trailer yesterday and got a whopping 10 miles to the gallon in my ecoboost. This trailer weighs nothing should I be concerned my 2010 fx4 screw with a v8 got better WTF. Thanks guys.

So the Silverstars weren't that good huh? Been thinkin about changing the factory bulbs out for something else myself. I have like the silverstars in the past, on other vehicles.

As for towing MPG, can't help there? Mine got 13.4 when I towed my 4wheeler around on my small trailer.

 

Sorry I have 13,000 miles on mine I'm not bashing ford but I am disappointed. And yes they were the silver stars.

 

you could upgrade your headlights to a projector style Recon makes a real nice pair, or you could install a set of HIDs you can find a set of High/Low on ebay for under $100 DIY install only takes about 30 mins..

I find the overall mileage numbers on my EB to be disappointing at best. With that being said, I still love the truck. It can tow pretty much anything I can afford, it hauls my entire family, has 4WD, looks sharp, rides quiet and smooth.

Yes, the headlights are poor.

 

Did you install the Altra's ???

 

You might want to try having them aimed. Thay might a bit low.
