I don't know if I can ask this question and have it make sense or not. Either way I've been debating for months about leveling or lifting my truck. I see a lot of guys who have the 2" leveling kit and they look great but they always seem to be on 4x4s or FXs. These models come stock with a higher ride height than my XL...right? So the question is, will a 2" leveling kit give my XL a different ride height than a 2" leveling kit on an FX or 4x4?

Below is the stance I have and then a picture of the stance I want.

Thoughts?

The big difference is the baby diameter tires you have.

4x4 trucks from 09-up have an 1.25" rear block and no strut spacer up front. But a 2" rake front to rear.

I don't think there is physically any difference in the Coilover shocks up front other than maybe spring rates, HD etc.

Yeah, these 17" wheels and these tiny tires are killing me! I'm waiting for them to wear out before I replace them though.
