Any silicone sealant will work. I have done 6 headlights and no leaks dont be scared to use lots btw. I like the stuff that is white but dries clear. Oh and no need to rebake unless there is some of the stock sealant in the way of getting a good seal with the new stuff

That does look awesome! How would you get rid of the yellow turns? Paint the reflectors or pull out the yellow lenses?

And do you think you could spray the inside of the lenses with translucent paint while they're open? Or do you think it'd get too hot?

I would just niteshade the amber lens. I tried tails once and the plastic is a different kind because it will melt in the oven they are a pain in the ***** to get apart. I broke the ones i tried lol.

The oven melts the sealant. The plastic on the headlight wont melt at 300 F for 10 min. Have you ever touched a headlight lens when they have been on high for a few hours? Its HOT

So what's the verdict for niteshading the inside of the lenses while they're open? I was thinking this would keep it from wearing off with rain and rocks? And do they need to be re-aimed after re-install? If so, I'll mark the garage door before hand... ;-)
