Default 14 stx auto headlight switch install

Well I finally got the dealer to get all my parts in and install the wires need to make it all work. They charged me 300 to install it all and program the truck to work. I got the daylight sensor and wire harness with the plug from the dealer for 25. I went on eBay to get the switch for 60 it all works correctly.

Nice!! Will you post the part numbers for the harness and sensor you used? I just bought a 2014 STX and want to perform this mod as well.

Awesome thanks! I have read through multiple threads and I'm getting mixed info as to what parts I need for my truck to do it right.

Man, this was soooo much easier on my 10! Glad you found a work around but you could probably buy the parts from Tasca and save a bunch then install yourself then pay to get it programmed.

For $300 my left hand works just fine!

I spent the money on the parts and found out about the wire not being there after the point. That deep in to the project I said f it and finish it up.

If you had the a dealer change any programming before this tell them what was changed. Like adding remote start or what not because this data is not in your as built and when they change the as built for adding auto headlights it will stop the added items from working.
