Default '14 2" Level Install

Waiting for my 2" RL leveling spacers to arrive, any tips/tricks/methods people have been using to install them on '14's easier? Searched around a bit and found old threads with some conflicting methods.

Just wondering if a certain way of doing it has been used since that makes it easier, going into this never having done one before. Thanks.

Lots of rust penetrant every deep well socket you can get ahold of torque wrench a second person and if your so lucky air tools , didnt have a deep socket for the ball joint and it took 30minutes with two of us pushing on a cresent wrench due to rust build up and mine only has 13k miles on it.

If you have access to a car lift, use it! If not, get an extra set of hands. The lower strut bolt can be particularly difficult.

I do have a car lift that is accessible, as well as air tools. Will also have a second set of hands as well, just not sure how we are going to go at it. Then again it may become clearer once we are looking at it!

Its easy just take off wheel remove brake line braket bolt so its hanging free then undo top strut nuts undo sway bar top or bottom doesnt matter i did top undo ball joint(major pain but once you get the nut off 2 or 3 hits with a sledge should knock it free ) then do lower shock mount ( really waant bad ir wasnt completely rusted already like my ball joint ) of course have a jack supporting the axel this whole time and then when everythings unbolted lower the jack supporting the axel and the whole strut should come free

So you actually don't have to mess with the LCA like some have said you do?

Dylan has a 2013 so he probably didn't have to. But you have a 2014 so you'll have to remove the LCA bolts and drop the LCAs down out of the way. You'll probably need a breaker bar but it's really not that bad.
