Compared to ecoboost 365HP and 420TQ. where do u find more power in the Chevy ?
I think he was talking about the 420 hp and 460 lb-ft from the new Ecotec 6.2L available in 2015.

Oh ok. 6.2 compared to 3.5L is kinda silly comparison. That's why I figured the 5.3.

Actually it is not. An F150 EB has identical capabilities and performance numbers with a similarly equipped F150 6.2L.

Fords stock tune sucks in my truck. I'm sorry but throttle lag, turbo surge and falling on it's face when trying to take off do not say much for how this truck is programmed to run.

Let me know what you find. I have a buddy that has the exact same sound in the same situations. No tuner or anything, completely stock.

Thanks

For what it's worth my brother had constant issues running lean in his lightning with aftermarket tune. Cost him some pretty pennies in damage. I guess all the reputable tunes on F150 we shouldn't worry about scenarios like that?

^^^Thats what data logging is for, I trust my tuner but even he says log since every truck reacts different. And if knew it was running lean and kept on running it that way its his own fault for the pennies it cost him.

Yep, sorry. Memory is getting bad as truck has already been out for 3 years.

okay fellows. .. update here. received truck back yesterday and they couldn't get it to replicate. funning thing is I got one to ride with me and it never did it, my luck. (granite it was only a few blocks)
on my drive home it happen.... but now instead of at half throttle its at wot.... that may be the reason for it not doing it at dealer bc I never tried a wot with him in truck and not sure if they did either. ....

heres a vid of it doing it. might have to turn speakers up.... it starts around 4 secs at 60mph on vid....

any ideas???? im stomped and lossing alot of time and money from taking off of work. looks like I will be bringing it back soon again
