i just noticed that this implies my current wheel is a 20x8.5. i thought it was straight up 8. i think the dealer accessory guy even told me that.

specs card
Your card is very thorough, I cant verify most of the specs but the fx4 20" wheel option is wrong. A stock fx4 with 20s has 275 55 20, probably just a typo.
Also for anyone who cares to know I put the 275 65 20 duratracs on my 6.5 box crew, with a 2.5 level in front and a 1" inch block in the rear with +12mm 9" wheels with no rubbing. Looked great. Then I got great deal on a procomp 6" with mx2.75s and mx6's the 34" duratrac is a great size and still keeps my milage reasonable.
Milage: (kilometerage)
stock: best 11.3/100km average 12.5l/100km
2.5 level +duratracs: 12.5 best 14.5 average.
6inch lift+just not really caring anymore: 13.5 best and 15.4 average.
please calculate into mpg if you're in merica.
And my 2.5 bds(10k km) level is for sale if anyone wants it. Can even include strut assy.(19k km on struts) If yours is worn out.

2014 f150 platinum
Hey guys just bought a 2014 f150 platinum. stock they come with 22 in wheel but when I bought it off the dealer it had 18 inch tires on it. Which is great and I love the 18 inch wheels but there is only one problem. When I turn the whole way the inside of the wheel rubs the tire rod. The dealer ship won't do anything about it. Does anyone have any suggestions. I wanna stick with 18 so any ideas would be great

Are the wheels OEM 18's or aftermarket? What size?
What size are the 18" tires?

Do you know the size of the wheels 18x9? 18x10? Backspace? Offset?
Highly likely your running an 18x9 or 18x10. The wheel backspace and offset will matter as well. This along with the combination of the tire size is going to end up being the issue. There's likely nothing wrong with the truck.
