The 20's are 8.5 inch wide rims, +44mm offset and 6.2 inch backspacing and come with 275/55/20 rubber.

so do all of those have the same offset and backspacing? just curious.

i have been looking for wheels/tires a long time now and i just came to the realization that once i found what i wanted it may not have the offset or backspacing i am looking for. or at least i assume. do manufacturers make the same wheels with different backspace/offset or does it just depend on brands?

I have been looking for a while also but havent decided yet what I want. Seems that some manufacturers offer alot of selection and some have very limited choice. I have determined that I want a close to factory look so am going to stay with a high positive offset.

i am looking to go down to an 18" wheel with closer to 0 offset (i think) to get a bit of the tire out further. it kills me that offset is mm and backspacing is in inches. wtf came up with this? probably the same guy that chose the xxx/xx/xx format. so confusing.

If you are confused about tire sizing and wheel specs check out the sticky in my sig. It only explains tires at the moment but ill add in the explanation for backspacing and offset.

eztarget - so do all of those have the same offset and backspacing?
NO! My mis'/bad ... In an attempt to update my reference card with model specifics, I neglected to change the offset and backspacing spec's from a particular rim to a range of standard, OEM rimS.

The reference card has been updated accordingly. Thank you for bringing it to my attention. *NOTE: You may need to clear/delete your browser's cache to see the new version.

Probably depends on the maker, though they'll be close, within-range of OEM spec's they often futz with 'em to get a look; usually to move the wheel to give an appearance of filling-up and/or spacing it closer to (and in extreme cases, beyond) the inside edge of the wheel well.
