At this power level I'm going to keep it stock. Way to many 5.0s putting out more power on the stock pump so I'm not worried as long as I don't get stupid and bounce off the rev limiter like crazy.
The work involved in putting in the oil pump gears it would only be an extra few minutes really to change the cams. Because I've maxed out the blower if I changed the cams I'd change the blower to the 2300 unit from the mustang. Between the cams and blower I'd be putting down about another 100rwhp according to Shaun. That would put my truck at between 750 and 800 crank HP. If I was putting that much power down I'd want to change the pistons and rods so I wouldn't window the block. So basically what I'm saying is if I'm going to go into the engine for anything, I'm going to yank the engine and build it to handle at least 1000hp while I'm in there.
I'm satisfied with my truck... for now
There's more power in the tune also. He has it set for 23* timing and let the knock sensors add timing to 24* which they do. In the mustangs he runs 25-26* but we decided to be conservative. Fueling is also conservative. The tune he built is a safe one, yet still hauls
Like I said earlier, the truck has 11s in it with proper conditions and a few minor changes. So if someone wants to topple my spot as the fastest supercrew, they better pull 11s or I'll be back with an 11 slip to regain it
The power is additive!

Bring it, you better have 11s fool! Good luck Ryan, you'll need slicks, not even drag radials will get you there. I was running better 60' times than anyone with drags radials except one or two of the GTRs. I was sickened by my 60' times until I noticed this, which is part of the reason everyone was interested in my truck because it was faster than anyone else running less than 122mph trap speed.

I do have another video, it's 3 minutes long because I left it running while I drove around to get the slip, etc. I mounted the camera between the headrest and seat on the passenger side. For some reason I only used one had on the steering when at first lol. The problem is every time I load the video it's upside down.
