That lowly XLT is silly. Nice. Too old to stay on top of the Black. Keep it looking good

My 2013 Lariat has both the off road package and the tow package with 3.73 elocker.

My suggestion is if you are going to go with aftermarket tires that are larger or heavier than the stock tires go with the 3.73 gear ratio.

Yeah, my 2011 was race red, and I vowed to never own another black vehicle but it was just too pretty to pass up!

Does the e locker work like LS unles it's switched on ?

Honestly except for gearing related items, anything "offroad" from ford is junk. True aftermarket shocks, coilovers, springs, tires, skid plates are all better and cost effective. Get everything else like engine, gearing, locker etc. from the factory and then plan on upgrading later. I wouldn't agonize over the factory options if it came down to it. Heck I don't think I would spend 100 dollars for the supposed offroad tires they offer.
