Default 1" leveling kit?

I have a 2011 super crew 4x4. My rear wheel well sits 9" above my rear tire. The gap is 7 & 5/8 inches in the front. I am considering a 1" leveling kit for the front because I have heard the kit will make the shocks/struts sit at a different angle; therefore, adding another 1/2 inch for 1 1/2" total lift. Can anyone confirm this? Would you recommend anything different? Thanks!

I have a 2010 and i put on a 2 in level and it ended up being 3/4 inch higher in front so i had to raise the back a bit. So a 1 inch should be pretty good.

I put the daystar 1" budget boost leveling kit on my truck. It gave me a 1 1/2" lift. Just the perfect amount to make mine level with the back.

Where in Canada did you pick them up? How much did the kit run you? I'm in NB.

The only way to get a 1" level is to install Bilstein 5100's and set them on the 2nd (.75") notch. This will give you exactly 1" front lift on a 4x4. Regardless of what the manuf's claim, the spacers will All give a minimum of 1.5"+ as this is necessary to clear the bolts with spacers.

I got mine from the U.S. I can't remember where right now but it was about $35US shipped.

Edit - It was 4wheelparts.com. I had to call them to get it shipped USPS. They didn't really want to at first but in the end they did. Didn't even charge me shipping and I had it in three days. DO NOT get it sent UPS unless you wanna pay a lot more at the border. http://www.4wheelparts.com/Lift-Kits...n=DAYKF09115BK

Rumble, so daystar does make a 1" inch kit? Did you do the install yourself, or did you have it done? How much did the install cost?

Thanks for the tip about USPS and not UPS. I looked at the link first and calculated shipping before I read your whole post. Haha felt much better after that!

I got a quote from a dealer today on the install for the leveling kit - 3 hours @$115 per plus $80 for the alignment. Seems steep. Called a few other places, but none of them would install it. Ordered the parts today, but I am having a hard time finding a place to do it. Any ideas?
