If you're up to a 2009+, you should check out new instead of used - Ford really pushes them, you can usually get a very nice deal on one. Can usually get away with better payments than on a used vehicle.
Factory warranty is 1 year / 12,000 miles "EVERYTHING" (including windshield wipers, for example), 3 years / 36,000 miles bumper to bumper, and 5 years / 60,000 miles powertrain.
Extended warranties are fairly cheap - if you buy them online, after you buy the truck.
When you say pull your car, how heavy is the trailer?
Is it a V-nose or flat-nose trailer?
