I didn't know there was a difference in material for the LCA. You are in luck though, I currently own a 2004 AND a 2009. I will try to crawl under each truck and do a comparison of them. I do know for a fact that the 04 has a single bolt on the shock to the LCA. Also yes the 04-08 have a single one piece rotor and wheel bearing, although I swapped mine with the Centric kit so now my 2wd 04 accepts 4wd style rotors (much cheaper to replace and service). I also wonder if its cheaper to put the older control arms on??
