2.5" coilover shocks will make a huge improvement in the performance & ride on and offroad. For under 3k, you can do the front and rear up with equipment that will put it on the performance level of a Raptor. I personally like the ICON line of coilovers and the way they ride. King & Fox also make a great set of bolt on units. It is important to match the front to rear, a long travel front end with a stock rear end truck would be left in the dust by a truck equipped with 2.5" shocks front & rear.

Some damn nice trucks in here. I love the looks. I don't see anything like this in Ohio.
I kept seeing prerunner mentioned, I always thought a prerunner was a 2wd truck lifted to look like a 4wd.

Yeah I live in Tennessee and go to school in Mississippi. There are plenty of nice lifted trucks but no prerunners around here. I wish there were though. Anybody on this thread from the southeast?

Prerunner comes from Baja racing. A prerunner runs the course prior to the race. They normally have more creature comforts then the race trucks.
The 2wd lifted to look like 4wd I think comes from the Toyota Tacoma Prerunner model, which is a 2wd truck on a 4wd frame & suspension.

Yes normally prerunners are 2wd but you can build a 4wd one. You just sacrifice some travel because of the limitations of tue CVs. My F150 is 4wd.
