Default Overland bed rack

Looking for a bed rail/rack system for a 2019 F150 that works with a tonneau cover:

-would prefer mid height 13-18 inches
-bonus if it’s easily removed
-needs to hold up to 400 pounds static
-bonus if it contours with the truck, flows with the body lines
-the less busy it looks the better
-would like to not spend $5k, lol.

I know Yakima makes a few systems that come close but it’s impossible getting them to answer questions about fitment with tonneau covers.

what’s everyone got?

Truxedo pro tonneau with the Truxedo Elevate rack. Doesn’t really flow with the body lines, but has 3 height settings. It’s rated at 500 pounds dynamic and 800 pounds static.

It’s stable enough to hold my RTT and awning. I’ve had it for a little over a year now with no complaints.

Tonneau was a little over $500 and the rack system was around $800 I believe.

Since I’m going to leave this on the majority of the time, not the biggest fan of the ladder rack vs overland look

sorry, didn’t mean to imply I didn’t like your truck, just looking for something a little more hidden

decided to try the Yakima outposts…they should work with my elevate rails

Overland Xtrusion makes good stuff, I'm super happy with mine and its been through a lot. Fairly sure they work with different covers.

I went with Adarac Aluminum (inward slant not straight up) with a Retrax retractable hard tonneau. The Adarac base rail mounts via the stake pockets and is a more stable solution that the ones that mount to small aluminum T-channels integrated to the tonneau mount in my opinion. There are several different upright heights available. I started with the higher ones as I want easy access to the bed with the tent mounted. Come winter I remove the tent and uprights/crossbar set and store them still assembled. Takes less than an hour to break down with someone to assist with the tent (160 lbs). The base rails stay mounted full-time.
