The lead time is ridiculously short! Ordered mine 2 weeks ago and pretty much got everything. Just waiting on the bolt hardware which arrives today. Even at its longest its 3 weeks. which i would say is pretty good! Im sure if more jump on the wagon those lead times will definitely be longer. but yeah should be installing shortly.

Has anyone been able to contact Alan or Xtrusion recently?

He responded to email and took my call in February to answer my questions, but since the Moore Overland Expo, he hasn't responded to any of my emails, both through our existing correspondence, nor through the company email, and calls to his phone rings until I get voice mail.

I'm ready to make a purchase but I had custom specs that I was hoping he could accommodate...

I’ve been in contact with him a few times lately try using the ‘chat’ function on his website. He’s been very responsive via that route

I tried that chat on Friday and nothing after having it sit there in the background for 2 hours.

I know, that's why I'm ready to dump the cash!

Did you order the 23" height version? Or 21"? I can't really tell from your photos...

Haha. Had both. 21 was too short and my tent hung way off the back. Didnt like the look. 23” now and perfect. But only cause im running this type of tent. Had i has a smaller footprint one i could have done an 18” height.

Yea, I prefer a lower profile but since I spent a bundle on the GJ Motorsports Third Brake Light, I didn't want block it with the rack/tent.

I'm assuming the roof rack had to be drilled and bolted to the roof, yes?

Have you found the tailgate trash bag to cause a lot of scuffing of the paint? That's what I've read is the biggest issue with these, otherwise, I'd get one in a heartbeat.

Yes the rack is drilled bolted. No issues though. Just have to take your damn time! As for the trasharoo, i havent seen any scuffing. And i was on some beat up washboarded roads this past weekend. Going out again this weekend so well see.

FYi, Alan just called me and we had a good convo on a possible custom solution based off their Chevy install.

I have the Ford Cargo Management System so their current base brackets will not work so I'm looking at using the stake pockets for anchoring the rack.
