Looking for AT tire

I had 285/65/20's on my 2011 Ram, dead quiet and looked great. You'd be surprised how much of a difference 10mm makes.

Just got the Continental TerrainContact A/T. They're a brand new tire offering by Continental. I got them installed yesterday and love them so far. Here's my post: https://www.f150forum.com/f38/new-sh...t-pics-362680/

For the last 30,000 miles I've had a set of Toyo AT2s. They've been quieter than I thought they would be, but the off road performance is amazing. After 30K miles, I still have 12/32" (65% of the tread left). They come with a 50,000 mile warranty.
After our last overland trip through AZ and UT, I noticed a weird cut on the edge of one tire. A tread separation. Very odd and even more rare. Took it to the tire shop (Les Schwab), and they're just going to replace it, period. Cool. I have been running LT285/75R17s. I'm moving up to LT305/70R17s. Same diameter as the 285s, but 20mm wider. I can honestly recommend these tires. They have no shortcomings as far as I can see. The OP wanted an AT with an aggressive look... these are the tires.

I am running the Toyo AT2 Xtreme on both of my trucks, LT285/75-18 in my case. Very good off-road traction, not much road whine and excellent tread life.

Your Mod Superstore!
As many others have mentioned here, it really is hard to go wrong with good ol' BFG A/Ts. I've run them in various sizes for the past three generations of the tire, and they have always been solid. The KO2s seem to be the quietest yet (difficult to tell), and perform surprisingly well in the wet.
Honestly these days it's pretty hard to pick up a set of bad tires. As long as you stick with the big names and don't cheap out, you really can't go wrong!
