Again, thank you very much for tor info and taking time reply my question. I had a super-crew RWD 3.7L (non-ecoboost) with 17” stock wheels. I had 6” lifted run on 3x12.5x20. I know my engine is pretty small for the lift. The shop that worked on my truck install the some kind of software because I had bigger wheels and tires, I didn’t have it regear. After a year driving with the lift. I feel the transmission sometime slip at 2nd and 4th gear. I put back on 18”’wheel then it’s fine. I recently sold it and purchased a 2018 supercrew V8. I want to have 6” lifted on 35x12.5x20 again. Not sure do I have to regear cuz I don’t wa t to hurt my new truck. Thank you in advance

You're very welcome. I'm happy to help.

With 35" tires, I don't think it's necessary to re-gear. I would say the vast majority of people don't regear with 35's. You should ask the shop that does the lift as well, but I think they'll say the same thing. You will need the software again which corrects the speedometer and shift points because the bigger tires affect the speedometer.

Subd. Looks like an awesome time out there! Once I get moved back towards Florida after Christmas (I'm working in Cali) I will have to go check these trails out.

Cool. Give a shout when you're back in town and I'll let you know some great places to go. Been having a ton of fun lately at Hardrock Off-Road Park in Ocala, FL. Some photos below.

Looks fun! You should setup a dash camera or something so we can see it through your eyes.

It's funny that you said that because I just put together a video with some POV stuff in it. I never posted it though because video just never does justice to how steep those hills are! Haha. But here it is anyway:

Thanks! Yeah there's some great wheeling here. All over the state too, so you're never too far from a good spot. Thanks!
