I think nominating your own truck should be excluded

 

We tried that in the old contest. The pool of nominees dropped very quickly and it was the same people being nominated every month.

 

So is posting one time in a different forum considered whoring?

 

Whoring? No. Solicitation? Probably. This will be handled on a case-by-case basis. This rule is something that was impending during the old contest as well but I was hesitant to add it. After having a couple complaints already in this new contest, I decided to add the rule. F150Online does it, too. Have for a long time.

But I can tell you, I did not join here for money. I joined this forum for the camaraderie from other F150 enthusiasts.

The recognition from fellow truck owners means more to me than any prize money.

I know who complained to you because he sent me a private message and he's a sore loser.

 

Wasn't just you man. This was an issue last month as well and the person who contacted you (not the same one from last month) wasn't even in the running last month.

Just putting that out there.

 

I think to avoid a loss in the amount of trucks eligible, you should cap it to 3 or 4 trucks for the final vote.

I'll stay out of this but it is what it is... My favorite part of this forum is sharing ideas and meeting new people with similar interest. I can honestly say I have met quite a few people that I look up to and they push me to test my abilities. ..
