I have a 91 F-150 2x4. Stock i was able to get 33's under it . I now have 35's with the help of a 3 inch body lift and a 3 1/2 back spacing on the rims.I would suggest the same. as far as clearance you make have enough but theres a chance of your tires rubbing when you turn

35s wont fit. i have a 3 in lift on my 01 and can fit 34s but had to trim a little. 33s are probly the biggest you can go, the 2 in lift is almost pointless except in makes it look a little higher.

You can put whatever size you want with a 2 inch lift..hehehehe. We got bored one day and had a fullsized bronco laying around doing nothing so we instaleld 2 inch lift on it and installed 42's. I love a good plasma cutter. The front fender was cut 8 inches for turning and the rear we took out about 6 inches of metal. put on a set of fender flares and took it bogging. We had about 6 hours in it and the damn thing walked every hole.

That is the nice thing about old trucks, you can do what ever you want to them without feelling bad about it.
