Tires
Nitto Terra Grapplers have shown me to be a REALLY good all-around tire. I've used 'em on every lifted truck I've owned(6 now), and one truck I sold had 40k miles on 'em , and they still had a LOT of tread left.
FWIW they're also quiet on the road. Some people like the humming noise BFG's(and most other offroad tires) make going down the road, and if this is the case with you, you'll be disappointed in the Nitto's. They're uber-quiet.
Lastly, while I've always paid less for my Nitto's than what a same-sized set of BFG's would cost, I wouldn't say EITHER of them qualify as 'Cheap' or inexpensive. There are cheaper offroad tires out there. Falken's new(to me at least) offroad tire looks to be a lot cheaper than Nitto's, BFG's, Pro Comps, Toyo's, General's, and of course Michelins and Pirellis right now. I know nothing about their performance however.

I have been looking into the Terra Grapplers and have heard that they are a pretty good tire and that they last for a good amount of time. Can you tell me anything about their off road performance like how well the do in mud and snow
the terra grapplers do pretty descent in the snow,, and unless your seriously expecting to go through some deep mud they will give you no issues.. i had the terra grapplers on my truck before and now have the trail grapplers on mine.. i say go with the trail grapplers, still pretty quiet on the road, great in the rain and phenomenal in the snow and mud as well,, definately 10/10 in my book and have never let me down
He did say cheap. A "cheaper" tire (relatively speaking) that is well-reviewed and performs admirably on a number of fronts is the Cooper Zeon LTZ.
Those would run you at least $75 less per tire than the BF Goodrich tires. I think they were about $225 w/ free shipping through Discount Tire Direct.
