well i got me some new rims a little while ago. they are pacer 164u rims. in order for me to use them i need new tires since they are 16" rims. will my truck be able to clear 295 75r16's without a lift? if not, how many inches of lift would i need?

heres what they look like for only $200. center caps arent shown

I'll admit I don't know a alot about the pre-2004 models. Is your truck a 4WD? If so then you should have no problem. If it's 2WD I think you can crank the torsion bars to achieve the lift you need to clear the tires you're looking at. Not 100% sure about any of that so hopefully one of the smarter guys comes along to provide more clarity for you.

I like to the look of the rims. I believe the biggest you can go is 285/75/r16's without a lift. Someone may come in and correct me, but that is the biggest I think you can go. The rims will look good on your truck and should add some personality.

i think what i might do is an add a leaf/readylift torsion bar crank until i can afford the 4" lift kit i was looking at. with the ready lift and add a leaf that will give a 2.5" lift. will that be enough to clear the tires?
