Default Tire Size Help

Hey everybody, I'm looking for a set of all-terrain tires, preferably BFG. But I'm getting 17x9" Moto Metal 951 and I want to run a 33" tall tire....What size or sizes could I run?

Thanks you

Whats the backspacing and offset on the rims? You can run a 285/70/17 which is 32.7x11.56 or something along those lines depending on the brand. Or you can run a 33x12.50. What year is your truck?

I believe that with the -12mm it will stick out an inch to 3/4 inch out farther then stock. If you truck is leveled i know you can run 33x12.50 without issue. if that is too wide for your liking run a 285/70/17. I have a 2004 heritage, which is the old body style and i am running that size without any issue. But my torsion bars are cranked a little.

I think the 285/70/17 are probably the best route to go. Plus it seems to be that they are a little cheaper too which is a plus

Yeah they are a good size and will fill your wheel well in. Any other ideas on what tires your going to get or are you set on the bgf?

BFG is pricey but a good tire. I'm looking for an aggressive look, but will also handle smoothly on the highways. I like Nitto too. Any other suggestions???

The 17x9 with a 4.5 BS will stick out 2 1/2 inches more then stock. A 295x70x17 would fit great on those wheel's also. I'm assuming the truck's a 4x4 and maybe leveled.

I guess that the stock rims from that year and a lot different back spacing then the 97-03 style.
