Default Replacing the Scorpions

I can not stand the P. Scorpions on my 2011 platinum. The absoutely suck in the snow.

I really want to replace them with 305/55/20's but I can not get any shop in my town to do this. They all say I will need to raise my truck for these to fit. Although I have read numerous posts on this forum that this is not true.

Any suggestions, they all recommend that I go with 285/55/20's which are also more expensive.

Thanks
eric

I think they are trying to cover their bacon... Not sure. A few places have told me the if I'm going to go with a 305 that I should stay at 50 and not 55.

These are 305x55x20 Nitto Terra's at stock height on my truck. They fit with no rubbing but are real close to the upper control arm. Truck has since been leveled. Ideal tire would be a 33x12 on these truck's.

Thanks! I love those nittos, had them on my Tahoe before I got the f150. Also looking at the general grabber at2 and bfg a/t's not sure which I like the best. The generals are much less expensive.

I have 305/55R20s on my 2WD...w/ a2.75" level kit. If ur 4x4 u shouldnt need to level. I rub a little bit on the back of the front wells. Terra graps are the way to go

Thanks... my local dealer said they would do this size for me with no lift. Then we would go drive around to see if there was any rub and if a lift would be necessary.
The can get me the BFG A/T's in 305/55/20 installed and with a alignment for $1600. Sounds like a good deal based on prices I see online.??

The BFG's down here were almost $400 more then the Nitto's. The Nitto's ran $1250 OTD. Both in 305x55x20. 20's are freakin' expensive!

Now my next question.

BFG AT's or Goodyear Duratrac.. Will either of these look better or worse on my Platinum F-150. Dont want to get them and think they look odd since the truck is not that much "off road" looking.
