Default Plasti dip

I want to change the color of my stock rims but be able to remove the color and go back to the stock color if I don't like it/get tired of it. Just was wondering if its a smart idea and I'd you can TRULY take the plasti dip off. Thanks

I did it on my gray fx4 wheels to see if black was for me. Needless to say I have black wheels now. And it does peel right off, the more coats the better. I did like 4-5.

Will it come off when you go through a car wash/power wash your wheels?

No and No. I had it on for a couple weeks and it never came off or flaked, peeled. I have my truck washed at the wash tub about 3-4 week.

Lol Jesus I've literally only washed my truck maybe 2 or 3 times since I've owned it.

Plasti-Dip recommends that you don't use commercial washes, spray high-pressure water on 'em, or use anything more aggressive than soap to clean 'em.
As you can see, real world performance of the product differs, but I think that has everything to do with how good a job they did applying it, and how many coats they used.
FWIW, Plasti-Dip has a website with forums on it where you can get pretty-much any question you have answered(repeatedly).
