Default Newbie Question

This is maybe a stupid question....

I’ve always driven an F-150 but have also always kept my tires OEM size. I have a 2017 XLT w Sport Appearance Pkg. I want a little more of an off-road look now that I need new tires. Nothing crazy, just narrow the wheel gap and a more aggressive looking tire.

Where should I go to accomplish this? Will a normal tire shop do this? Or will they only install OEM size? Any help would be appreciated. Also anyone else with photos in a similar situation. Please share! TIA

Most tire shops will install oversized tires as long as there are no clearance issues. Walmart will only install stock size tires.

You didn't say weather you are 2 or 4wd or list your stock tire size so I can't recommend a tire size for you.

Installing taller tires does more than change the look, it also changes the effective gear ratio and throws your speedo off. The speedo can be corrected.
