Default Need A Little Help

Just picked this 2019 3.5 EB up last week, had the wheels and tires on it already. Problem is I can't find the manufacturer of the wheels anywhere. Looked everywhere even on the back of the spokes.

Here's a better look at them. The tires are Fury Country Hunters 33 /12.5 R20.

They have FF001 Pivot on the one spoke, but I can't find any info on that with an online search. I believe the one sequence says r10 20j or something and there's a load rating.

Ok, issue I'm having is the tires rub with the wheel racked all the way in reverse. Also if I've got the wheel racked and I go over uneven ground going forward. Now my local garage told me they couldn't pass an inspection with the amount of poke these have. Also called my brother in law who is a PA master mechanic and he said the wheel rub is also an automatic fail for inspection. I called the salesman that sold me the truck and confronted him on the inspection because I specifically asked if the wheels and tires were legal before I bought it. He said "it's a certified Ford truck, of course it'll pass inspection". He's going to have their service manager and an inspection tech look at it this week and go from there. He wants to put fender flairs on it of the pole is too much but that doesn't solve the rub. He also offered stock rims and some tires for a swap.

I want to find out what these wheels cost so I have some bargaining power if I decide to get rid of the wheels. I'm not giving them these in exchange for stock wheels and crappy tires. Hell the Fury Country Hunters are $300 a piece and these are brand new. Still have the little rubber points all over the tread. I might have over $2000 in wheels and tires here.

If anyone can help me identify these I'd really be in your debt. Thanks!

These look exactly like the rims you posted (Minus size, width, etc...). These are either the rims you have and whoever had them changed the center hub cap, or that is a knockoff version of these.

Do you like the rims? If you do there are ways to trim and bend the crash bars out to where you don't rub at all if you wanted to keep them...

My god man, you've found them! Seriously, how did you find these? I've looked for these on and off for a week and came up bupkis. I appreciate the help on that one, thank you.

I wasn't really looking to modify the truck too much since it's certified, but I'll look and see how involved the trim and bend mod is to perform. If you can point me to a thread or video of the process I'd be in your debt.
Honestly in the end I'm more worried about the cost of the 33's over time. I drive about 100 miles a day for my job, so keeping this tire size is probably going to be quite expensive. What I'm going to angle for is probably to get some crappy stock wheels and tires, sell these and get a slightly narrower wheel so I don't have to worry about the rub. If I've got stock rims and wheels I can pass an inspection and then I can swap out when needed.

I'm new to wheels and tires, every truck I've ever owned had stock wheels. I'm charting new territory here. Need to research and ask questions, lots of questions.

No problem man that's what the forum is for. I dont have a thread link for that but I did mine about a month ago. It was easy. Just look up "port-a-power crash bar bending" and you should be able to find it. In all honesty with what it sounds like you're trying to do I would sell them and get something more eco friendly. The truck does look great though how it sits...you have a tough choice to make.

As far as getting into tires, ask away. There are plenty of people here willing to share the knowledge they've learned over doing years of research, myself included.

I agree with the look. I get comments on the wheels quite a bit. lol The wheels played a part in buying the truck, and when he told me it was legit I was on board. I'll look into that and see where I go down the interwebz rabbit hole. I'm sure I'll get the idea and with my peoples we can figure it out.

If I can get a 10" width wheel in the diameter range I think it'll be a little more suited to my driving style. I'll look for a decent negative offset so I can get a little poke and maintain the look I have now without the fender rub.

Or just say eff it, keep the wheels and mod the thing and save for tires all the time, lol It does look bad *** the way it is now.....

"...my local garage told me they couldn't pass an inspection with the amount of poke these have..."

Do you need an inspection? (Didn't the truck have to be certified before it could be transferred into your name?) If for whatever reason you do need an inspection, perhaps you could borrow/rent a set of "passable" wheels&tires for a half-day from a member who lives not too far away and swap back to yours after you get the certificate(?) That should give you a year or two(?) to solve the issue with the as-delivered wheels.

In Pennsylvania we are required to get an annual vehicle inspection from a certified inspection station (garage). Without a current inspection you cannot get your annual vehicle registration with the State. Even a brand new vehicle straight out of the factory needs an inspection in PA. Pretty good revenue racket for PA. So as of right now if I don't have a different set of wheels and tires I can't pass. If I mod the crash bars and get flares I might be able to get an inspection depending on how close it is. We'll see.

That's a good idea, I'll have to find the member location thread and see if there are any local yokels in there. If not I'll keep pushing the dealership until I get what I need to pass an inspection.

I've been looking up crash bar mods etc so the rub probably won't be an issue here pretty soon.

We're on lock down in Pittsburgh because of the Corona virus right now so I can't even go to the dealership to harass the salesman. All I can do is go to the service department and they'll laugh at me without direction from the sales team. Unless of course I pay their exorbitant rates. No thank you. lol

Best way to do it is to rent a Port-A-Power from autozone and bend them out it was extremely easy. Just give it 3 or 4 pumps until the crash bar is touching the front bumper...let it sit for 3 min then one more small pump and you're good. The crash bars will recede back a little bit after you take off the pressure so go just a hair past where you need to be.

I was just watching as video on these! I'll probably do this as I'd rather not remove the crash bars. Ultimately if I can't get what I need, I'll just cut the bolts and pull them out.Hopefully it all works out.

I'd like to get the dealership to put on Raptor style flares. I think they look pimp, and there's a few mods to the front end I'd like to do as well.

Well the raptor has an entirely different fender that makes it wider and stick out. From my understanding its not something you can just bolt on to the existing trim...could be mistaken though. People sell the kits but you're talking about dropping some $$$.
