Need advice
Going to order new terra nittos on 18's, 285/65/18 on incubus krusher rims not going with lift will I have any rubbing issues ? seems that it should be ok from some I talk to but, have 09 fx4 .Thanks
What is the width and offset (or backspace) of the wheels you are looking at?
By the way, welcome to the board!
This is my biggest problem im not sure on how this back spacing thing works , I want the tire to stick out just alittle mabye a inch or 2, the tires are nitto 285/60/18 on a 18 inch rim ,what will work the best without rubbing .also is a 60 a smaller profile than a 65, I am very confused as u can see and am trying to get this right the first time around. I am not looking for a monster truck look but a more even look with a bigger tire and do not want to do a lift .
I went to the manufacturers website and it looks like the 18x9 Crusher is available in two offsets in the 6-135 bolt pattern, +12 (5.5" B/S) & -12 (4.5" B/S). Since you will not be adding a lift, I recommend running the +12mm offset. Compared to your stock wheel set up, the 18x9 +12 offset will extend out 2" further and you will also gain about 1/2" more clearance from the strut housing. With factory suspension (assuming the correct wheel dimensions) you can clear up to a 33" tall tire. With that said, the 285/65-18 (32.5") Nitto Terra Grapplers should work with this wheel setup without any issues.
You can use this tire size calculator to compare different sizes.

Man I really thank u this has been a very mind bending issue for me , just a question , in your opionion would a 28/60/18 look alittle better or will it stick out to far, I no it just a opionin but I am sure you have seen many many set ups .
The 285/60 is the same width as the 285/65. In metric sizes. The first number (285mm in this case) is the width (in milimeters) the second number is a percentage of the width (65% of the 285mm width) This indicated how tall the tire's sidewall is.
Use the calculator in my last post. Punch in the 285/65R18 and the 285/60R18 and you'll see the differences.
Personally, I prefer a taller tire over a shorter one.
I just noticed your screen name... For wheels, have you considered the Ballistic Offroad Brand?

We do not carry Incubus or Devino wheels but we can certainly special order them in for you. We mount and balance every wheel and tire package at no charge and shipping to the lower 48 States and Canada is free. We also carry the correct TPMS sensors for your truck and can have them installed before mounting the tires.
