Default LRG wheels??

I was looking at LRG 104 wheels for my truck, and just happened to be at the dealer and ask for a price. Instead of giving me a price, they actually stated they wouldn't sell the wheels to me, because they've had nothing but problems with the LRG offroad series wheels, and they all seem to come back cracked.. I'm wondering if anyone has any reviews on there LRG wheels and how long you've had them, I just want to be sure before I bite the bullet and buy a set.

I just wanted to get some more opinions because he just happened to tell me he had no way of purchasing that wheel because it's discount tire specific.. And then tried to sell me moto metals that I know have cracking issues from my own experience with once managing a pep boys and working at discount tire.

Why not get level 8 wheels? They are cheap at discount tire, I have them on my F-350, I only went out wheeling once but no issues.

I think I've actually decided on xd grenades. Look pretty similar to the lrg, but I've had a few sets of xd wheels without any issues. Other than one set not balancing out.

I can tell you that LRG are NOT Discount Tire specific. I just put a set of LRG 107's on my '15 XLT and I got them from 4Wheel Parts. I also saw them all over the net on different sites. I'll let you know if they crack but I don't do any off-roading so I hope I won't have an issue.

That's the set I actually had balancing issues with. 17 inch xd spies on my last 04 f150. I first thought it was tires, but after 3 sets of tires and even put the tire on a different wheel I realized it is was the wheels.

Any idea what was wrong? Mine are 17x9, so far no balancing issues, I did have a weight fall off though.

Really not too sure. They never would give me a nice ride since the day I purchased though. I was constantly going to the tire place to get a rebalance and was taking over 10 ounces per wheel combined inside and outside weight. It was crazy..
