Default Hercules Avalanche

Anyone have feed back on the Hercules Avalanche winter tires?
I can get a set of 4 new on steel rims for $950 Can
Can't seem to find too many reviews but the few I did find were positive.

Hercules is a Cooper brand tire. Same rubber and compounds as any Cooper brand of the same type tire.

Most people don't know that Mickey Thompson is a "Cooper" brand as well.

Where are you getting this info? Hercules is not a cooper tire company. I have sold and installed 1000s of Hercules tires. Never once heard they had any connection with cooper and they don't look or perform at all like a cooper.

Roadmaster, and mastercraft are cooper brands. You will have to find some hard evidence to verify your claim they are related at all. Because I am 99.9% sure you are wrong.

I work in the Cooper Tupelo Mississippi plant and have watched 100's of Hercules pass down the production line. Along with Mastercraft, Mickey Thompson, Dean, Starfire, Sears, Pep Boys, TBC, and the list keeps going. I've worked for Cooper since 1985, if that's not enough evidence for you oh well.

I stand corrected. I typically knew the head manufacturer of most tires but apparently never learned this one.

Thanks for the info guys. Turns out it was all for nothing anyway. Went to get them to place the order and get a call later that they're out of the Avalanche right now. Getting an alternate brand but have yet to find out which.

Curious about these as well as they're all over Kijiji.
Thanks for the manufacturer info as well. I thought they were Chinese or something.

A small percentage of Cooper's tires are made in China and Mexico. Most light truck and SUV tires are US made. Texarakana, Ar and Findlay, OH plants make most these tires, Tupelo produces primarly paggenger tires with a few light truck / suv mixed in.
