I have the same truck with a 2" lift in the front. Stock 18 x 7.5 rims. The 285's fit ok and do not rub? Do you have a wheel spacer also? I am concerned about going higher than 275x70x18 for fitment. Since you have had them since February, I would like to know your thoughts on ride and performance.

I did another trip from Oregon to southern Nevada and back with the new tire in post #27, I ran 52 PSI air pressure, and speed was mostly 70 MPH, 18.4 MPG I like the new tires as they inspire confidence.

I have two sets of KO2s. One on my FJ cruiser and on my f150. They are amazing on the FJ and disappointing on my F150. They suck at wet road traction. Downright scary pulling a heavy trailer. They are good in snow but in Georgia that's irrelevant. As for road noise I disagree with other posters. I had Toyo AT2s and they were much quieter. The BFGs are worn out and about to be replaced at 41k miles. Not sure what I am going with... that's what brought me to this thread.

I had 295/70/18 Cooper st maxx and loved those tires. Had 70k on them and went to falken at3w, right off the bat the were harsh. I attributed that to being a smaller size 275/70/18. They were rock chuckers for around 12 miles after gravel driving, extremely harsh, did good in loose dry dirt, not thrilled with wet weather. At 11k they were noisy, I went back to discount tire and explained these tires to me, flat out suck. They credited me back most of the purchase price and I went with Cooper at3 xlt.
night and day difference, with my phone app, same speed same section of road they are 4dB quieter. The harshness is gone, today we got snow and they literally felt glued to the road. Had to give it a good amount of throttle from a stop to break them free. Alone with being quieter and better on bump, they roll smooooooth on every surface.

I’ve been set on KO2s for some time, after reading about their wet and towing performance I’m seriously reconsidering that. I live in Oregon, west of the cascades so we get a fair bit of rain plus I tow frequently. I also want a larger A/T tire for the look and off road/trail driving.
I’m going with Method MR305 NVs and planned on 305/65/18 KO2s, the reports of a harsh ride didn’t bother me as I tow heavy, quad in the bed, ~800lb hitch weight.
What else should I look at?
