Thanks for the feedback. I haven’t seen any bad reviews on the Falken, except for they’re HEAVY. I’m pretty set on on Cooper discovery at3. Getting a good deal from my nephew at discount tire. 285/75r18

Falken Wildpeak A/T3W is the best I've used so far, and I've used them all.

I run Cooper AT3. I love this tire. Quiet and the road, great snow traction, and wears great.

They are actually lighter than the AT2's I just took off, so no biggie for me. The AT2's are 72lbs each and the Falken's are 59lbs each so I'm saving 52lbs of unsprung weight. I'll take it

I have a 2012 SC 4WD Lariat, 3.73 gears. I had stock Goodyear Wranglers on the pickup. Eighteen months ago driving on a numbered highway in Nevada and went from pavement to dirt for a 25-30 mile stretch. The dirt had rocks and the Right Rear took a hit and developed a slow leak, I added air and limped to a repair facility. I watched while the tire was plugged and patched by a guy who has been doing it for 40+ years. I made it back to Oregon, but sitting in the garage six week or so it lost seven pounds. I got it back up, rotated to the front, but it would still lose a pound a week. My wife got tired of it for the fourth or fifth time and said to get 'Stronger tires!' The Goodyear's had less than 28,000 miles on them, I think they would have gone 45,000 plus if the wife let me keep them.

I bought BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A KO2, load range E1, 275/65 18 tires. They have ten plies. All cars respond favorably to new tires, it is always noticeable. Me, I noticed a harder ride, and I am using 45 PSI (before 35 PSI)

I am happy with my choice, if I want a soft ride, I'll drive the Lincoln.

Ended up going with Cooper discovery AT3. Bought yesterday from discount tire. Went with 285/75r18. Thanks for all the feedback everyone. I’ll post some pics when I get them on.

I was thinking of going 285/75r18 and going with a cooper at3, or Toyo open country at. I know that size is about a 35” tire. But now I’m thinking of maybe going 275/70r18, which is 33.4 in both tire sizes. Reason I’m conflicted is I have some friends who do serious off roading. Some say get the 33” because that’s all I’ll need and it will give me more room for articulation in the wheel wells. Some say get the 35” because it will give me more ground clearance and I can always air down for more room in wheel well. The truck will not really see trails much, but will see sand, and hopefully see it often. I know both tires sizes are e rated 10plys, but the smaller 33s are about $100 cheaper per tire. So I’m looking for some feedback here to see what other have done. Thanks for your time and help. Also, not looking to buy now, but doing research so when the time comes I’m ready.
I highly suggest Nitto Terra Grapplre G2, I'm running them on my 2016 F-150 Lariat 4x4 and love them , they are great in sand. My truck before my F-150 was a F-250 2002 with a power stroke with a 6" lift. I ran Nitto's on that truck (35's). I had 3 sets of Nitto's on that truck and got over 50,000 miles out of each set and they still had tread on them, probably could have gotten 60,000 miles out of them, just keep them rotated. I don't think you would be disappointed in the Nitto's

Have had Duratracs, AT2 Xtremes and KO2s...I will be going back to the K02s when it comes to get new tires. The Toyos are the worst of the 3 imho...grip-wise and noise-wise.
