Default Help!

I just put these new tires and rims on. Got in, drove it around the yard and heard some knocking. Got out and looked and the tire is to wide and is scrapping what I think is the sway bar(when fully locked out). Does any body have an idea if it can be fixed? Can I get some type of spacer or am I better off trying to get rid of them?

I already have one on it. Im thinking i might have to go with a body lift or a wheel spacer of some sort.

I was told that you would do a suspension lift instead of a body lift to get the sway bar to raise

Yeah, 2wd. I thought they would have fit too. Thinking about just putting spacers on it.

1/4 spacer might do the job. Cheap, easy and only takes a few minutes to put on. Or just live with it since you almost never turn at full lock. That depends how much contact it is making but if it is fairly light your easiest solution is do nothing.

I was also just thinking about removing the swaybar all together. I know this will affect the handling. Have any recomendations about that?

On a stock or slightly lifted truck I would leave that as a last resort. On a lowered truck removing the sway bar has little effect on normal driving.

IF it is just a little rub then leave it alone. If it is slightly more then a little then pick your self up some 1/4" spacers and it should all but solve the rub completely.
