Having trouble deciding
What is up brethren?! I'm having trouble deciding what set up I want to go with, wheel-wise. I'm looking for an aggressive stance (more than 1" past my fender). The wheels I've been told to look at in packages are a 17x8 with a -13mm offset, and then anything x9" with a 0 offset to a -12 offset will put me at an inch and a half to 2" outside of my wheel well, and is black/machine-faced or chrome. What do you all suggest?
I'm finally getting some bills paid off, so my mods will be coming soon. I just want to have a pretty good idea what I want, and have y research done. That way I can just pull the trigger. Thanks in advance!

That's why I started the thread.
Custom Offsets is probably your best bet for finding an affordable wheel and tire package so kep up the searching. Does your truck have the OEM fender flares on it? Some of the trucks on their website have them and appear to not have the same stance as another truck with the same offset. Personally I say you go with a -12 or -18 and call it a day. A 0 offset will be nice but you will always catch yourself looking at it wishing you had gone wider. It happened to me so I'm speaking from experience.

I'm either looking at Ranchos or Pro Comps to level it out. A buddy of mine bought Billies for his truck, noticed the tack welds, and took them to his friend who's a welder. Welder said that the weld on the bilstein was a piece of ****. So I'm staying away from them.
The pro comps are $389 for all 4 corners, and the Ranchos are $400 for 2. Pro Comp seems a bit more in my budget.
I havent seen a lot of guys running procomp levels on here or I'm just ignorant and choose not to acknowlege them. I prefer the Rancho myself because of adjustability and ride quality. However many have said that the Bilstein's are even better. I dont know what happened with your friends set but that is literally the first time I have ever heard a gripe about a bilstein shock.

Any luck on your wheel decision? I've got sterling gray, so anything will go with it. I want to stick with black and machine faced. Certain black rims will POSSIBLY please the wife (I'm including her in the process of decision making... stance and size are my decision). She loves black and machine faced, and likes certain chrome wheels.
