goodyear duratracs... out of round??
any body running duratracs on their truck and have had problems with them becoming out of round a few thousand miles after having them put on?
i'm running 275 65 r20 (pretty much 34" x 11") tires and three of them bounce about .25" on the balance machine. anyone heard of this?
btw... all my driving is on city streets and highway.

yup... it was a separation issue. they were defective. they were replaced under warranty and my truck drives as smooth as glass.
i think my next set of tires will be the bfgoodrich AT KOs.

Funny how people are bashing this tire! My friends BFGs failed on him and they wouldnt replace! His next set was Duratracs and 45k miles later hes super happy with them and they look like they have another 30k left! Most people who bash this tire simply hate Goodyear but if you do research and read reviews from actual owners you will find out these are great tires! I had BFGs on a truck I had bought and besides being ugly as hell, I only got 38k before they went bald!

Not a huge fan of BFGs but I do tires for a living. Have been in the business for over 10 years and not once that I can remember have a met someone with experiance that doesn't hate goodyear. They are by far the worst tire on the market. I litteraly refused to put them back on my ex-wife's van when we split. She drove on the firestone Winter tires till she turned in the lease. That is how bad good years are.
BFGs are leaps and bounds better but honestly I am not the biggest fan of Michilin either. They tend to dry rot and get hard much sooner then they should.(BFG is a michelin.)

I've run Goodyears on almost every vehicle I've ever owned and never had one single problem with them besides the occasional puncture. I have Duratracs on right now and I absolutely love them.
