Default Cooper tires

I need to get a new set of tires pretty soon. Anyone have Cooper S/T or Cooper ATR? How do they work on and off road?

Cooper definitely makes quality tires. If you do a lot of offroading I'd go with the STTs. Not so much, then the ATRs.

Cooper makes a bunch of off brands. Try a Tire1 Dealer for decent tires as well. We are a dealer and most of the mechanics have the tires. I am trying out some new ones in a few days that is a different brand.

I've used Cooper ATR tires on a couple different vehicles and liked them a lot.

Cooper tires are good but don't exect allot of miles out of them. I have them on my 93 suburban and chose them because they are a good value. Low cost but low miles. If this is a truck you don't drive all that often or don't plan to keep for more then 2-3 years then you will be set. If you plan to keep this truck for a long time or put on a lot of miles I would look at other tires. Hankook RF-10 would be my choice. A few more dollars but you will get more miles out of them.

I've got a set of Cooper Discoverer S/T in 285/75/16 on my truck. I LOVE them. Performed great so far in snow, mud, wet grass, towing and on road. They aren't very noisy IMO. I took about 6 months researching tires, talking to people and reading reviews before I decided on the Coopers. I haven't regretted it one day. I've had them about a year, and 12,000 miles or so. The tread still looks like it did when I put them on. I talked to several people during my research that had gotten 50,000+ miles out of them. I say go for them!

I have heard good and bad things about Cooper tires they sure look good, I just settled on a set of Yokohama tires from Discount Tires after reading the comments section.

I have a set of Cooper ZEON LTZ's on my GF's RAM. awesome in the rain, and have great off road traction as well as on road. Smooth ride and very minimal noise.
