BFG T/A KO2 or Nitto Terra Grappler G2

I think I've narrowed it down to what I want. City driving about 95% of the time and going with 275/65/20 but I want to hear from the owners of both.
The BFG are about $145 more expensive for all 4 tires.

What's you're personal opinion them?
Would you switch to the other if you could start over?
How's the ride comfort and noise level?

Not interested in any others. thanks.

Love my Terra Grappler G2's. We run the BFG's on my dad's 03. The BFG's do better in slippery situations and whatnot, but are pretty noisy next to my Terra Grapplers. My Terra Grappler's are just about dead quiet on the highway. grip well in snow and ice. Not that you would need it, living in South Texas...

After doing nearly 10k miles on my Terra Grapplers, and putting about 8k with the BFG's on my dads truck with me behind the wheel last year, I'd take the Terra Grapplers over the BFG's for a general use tire any day of the week.

I'll bet the KO 's will last longer.

The KO2's look way better!

Love my KO2's. They look amazing (I get complements on them all the time) and I personally think they ride great. Not too noisy at all.

KO2's is my vote. They work well, bite on the trails, overall my favourite A/T tire. And it's winter rated as well. Another you could consider is Duratrac. Pretty close between the two in my experience.

Another vote for KO2's when it comes to ride quality and traction. The Toyo open country AT2's are also good on most kinds of terrain.

My vote would go to the Nitto strictly because of the mileage warranty so if they don't last you can expect some credit back provided you properly maintained and rotated them. They definitely aren't as aggressive as the BFG but from what you described these would fit you better IMO.

I saw a comment betting the BFG would last longer, while it is possible you are SOL if they only last 20k miles. I've had customers come in with the KO2s and the back tires were worn out after 20k miles and they get to bitching at me until I ask why they never rotated them. It would've got them at least another 10k miles in that situation but now they have payed several hundred dollars extra for the BFG over the Nitto and Michelin is not going to give them any credit back because there is no warranty.

I've had this debate with several customers and they seem to feel better with having the mileage warranty for the extra peace of mind.

I think part of whats driving this is more people have experience with the BFG's

I have had BFG's on another truck and current have G2's on my new screw and could not be happier with the ride quality or quite ride of the G2's. I believe the G2's are also lighter which is normally a plus.
I would not trade my G2's
