Default backspacing and offset ideas????

I have a 2014 f150 FX4 with a 2" motofab leveling kit on oem 20" rims and tires and im looking to get new rims (18s instead of 20s) and tires. Im thinking 305 for the tires but im not sure what i want for rims, backspacing/offset wise. I want something that is going to stick out more but not alot. Its stressful haha

18x9 with a +18 offset should get you like 1/2" to 1" outside of your fender.

I'm starting to have the same issue. I've been staring at wheel/tire combos at customoffsets.com they have pretty much every set up you can think of.

hey guys I'm in need of new tires and found a set of XD spy 20x8.5 wheels with a +18 offset. Im curious if these wheels will fit properly. the lug pattern is correct I believe 6x135. I currently have the 20'' factory chrome clad wheels with Pirelli scorpion atr 275/55/20 tires. my truck is a 2013 xlt 4x4 with a rough country 2.5'' level in the front. I had a rear block installed but removed it, I think I like the slight squatting look more and I don't do much towing. my main concern is the offset and will the same size tire or bigger fit properly with these aftermarket rims?

Should fit with plenty of room to spare. Almost too much. My 275/60/20s looked tiny under them wheel wells.

Since this thread is fairly recent I was hoping to pick up some information. I have an '06 Lariat Super Crew 4x4 and I'm wanting to make a change in look. I currently have the OEM 18" wheels with 275/65-18 tires on and plan going to 22's. Actually wanted to to with OEM 22's from '13 or '14 but not paying the outrageous price, even for slightly used takeoffs. So, on with the questions...

1. I plan on putting in either AutoSpring or ReadyLift 2.5" or 3" full leveling kit. Are there any opinions about either mfgr or the size? I am not willing to do any trimming underneath.

2. I've settled on American Racing 22x9 Mainline wheels which are +35 offset/6.5" backspacing. OEM's are +44 offset (not sure of backspace), is this going to cause concern?

And last...
3. I've been leaning toward Cooper Zeon LTZ 305/40-22 for tires. These tires fall within the fitment of the rim, but assuming all other factors are good will the tires cause rubbing anywhere under there?

My truck, in case you were interested

2006, bought brand new, as of today has 20,434 miles on it...

Any input is greatly appreciated.
