Default +12, -12, +18 Offset

Ok, i did a search and came up empty. i am going to be levelling my 2wd supercab next week (2" front) and going to be using all terrain tires (nitto terra grapplers). i am confused on the wheels though. i have found some i like but the offsets are confusing me. can anyone tell me how these would sit on my truck? i have found mostly 9" wide wheels, but one 8" wide wheel with a +25 offset that i really like. will these stick way out from the side of the fender? what about the +12 offset? i have been told this offset is "ideal" for my truck leveled. but will it stick out? any help/pics will be greatly appreciated.

The wider the wheel with the most negative offset will stick out more. the positive offset will not stick out much at all.

I have 9" wheels with -12 offset and they stick past the fender around 1.5-2", looks good

I mounted Monster 18x9 18mm offset with 285/65/18 BFG all terrains on my 2wd screw with pro comp 3 in leveling kit. No rubbing and the tire barely stick out if at all, set up is nice and makes a huge difference in appearance.

BFG have 50,00 mile warranty. I think they are worth the little extra I paid (only about 100-150 difference total)

What is the difference between offset and backspacing? Is backspacing the opposite direction of the tire sticking out from the fender (offset)?

What exactly is backspacing?

Nothing in rear, little lower in back. I could raise an inch or so to level it out, but I like the rear a little lower.
