for ground there is a metal bar behind the stereo that makes a great place to ground to, Power you can run it to the battery if you like but no need to, there is a power wire on the wire harness that works well.

2016 Power issues
So I used the parrot harness and wired everything to my Lc6i. I would like to know if anyone is having the same issues as I am.
When I turn the Key to ACC only the center speaker is powered. My amp and the rest of the system does not turn on until I start the truck. I could really use some help. I have the Lc6i triggered by fuze #23 along with the 12 v from the parrot harness and have it grounded to the metal bracket behind the CD player. Any help that anyone could provide would be great.

I just soldered the wires together from the parrot harness and pioneer amp, however a prior post stated to ground to the metal frame. All wire colors matched up and I just soldered yellow power to yellow and black to black. is the black wire supposed to also have pigtail wire to frame?<br/>thanks again for the help!

I just wanted to thank Sport Mode and anyone else for the helpful advice!!
Everything is working good but I do have a few questions.
Since I did not connect the remote wire, every time I open my door the HU lights up thus turning on my amp.
Should I connect my remote wire to a fuse to correct this?
Also, I was considering switching to Polk 6501 components instead of 100w JBL coax. Can I bridge the GM-D1004 to front channels only (90w) and have rear speakers un-amped?

So far it hasn't had any negative effects on my system that the amp turns on, no dead batteries.
The amp can be bridged to run 90 watts to just the front door speakers and the rear speakers will work but I belive the fader acts funny.. I found the 45 watts are plenty of power for Polk speakers.
